Kelly Christian is a medical device leader with over 30 years of experience turning innovative ideas into products that improve patient outcomes. As President of Wasatch Biomedical, he helps start-ups and established companies alike navigate every stage of product development—from R&D and engineering to regulatory, quality, and marketing—to bring impactful healthcare solutions to market.Previously, as Senior Director of Research and Development at BD, Kelly led a global team of over 100 professionals across franchises spanning dialysis, vascular access, oncology, and more, driving growth through new product development and P&L leadership. He built and managed international teams in China, India, and Singapore, including launching BD's first R&D center in China. Over his career, his work has spanned vascular access, respiratory, dialysis, oncology, gastroenterology, pain management, cardiology, and oral care—resulting in products that generate nearly a billion dollars in annual revenue and have improved the lives of millions of patients worldwide.Kelly currently serves on the Industrial Advisory Board for the University of Utah's School of Biomedical Engineering, helping shape the next generation of biomedical innovators.
